Gosh my mind is slow! Why did I not think of patchwork when I saw the template? It was only while weaving this heart, that I saw that the pattern could be something from a patchwork blanket... and when realising this, my mind went over to an incredible blog that I stumbled across a while ago: Three Pixie Lane.
Some of you know, that I have a soft spot for good pictures, but also for for Christmas - and if the colors used are red and white, then I am totally sold. Christie have this incredible blog, where she during December showed us her beautiful decorated home. Lots of details on that blog catched my attention, but especially the red and white patchwork bed covers made me a bit wish-it-was-mine, since the price of patchwork bed covers locally are very pricy.
My best friend's mum saw the below picture the other day, and told me that patterns like that are not too difficult, so maybe after completing this year with hearts I might attemp starting sewing my own Christmas patchwork bedcover.. so just maybe........... ;o)
